Introduction

ITIL Framework is the anthology of best practices which help you manage IT services more efficiently. ITIL Framework complies with the ISO 20000. But, while ISO 20000 implementation entails the complete set stipulated in it, ITIL framework is more flexible. You can opt for only those processes that are relevant or immediately applicable to you. But for the ITIL exam, you need to understand the framework in full.

Lessons Learned and Exam Preparation

Practice, practice and read. The key success to pass this exam is to read a lot on ITIL and take as many online training as you can. I had enrolled for a 3-day course at Torque IT which was a waste of money because the lecturer was just going through the slides.

During our break on day 2, I decided to go home and do self-studying. I purchased an online course on Udemy, ITIL Foundation (2011/v3) by Jason Dion. This is the course that really played a big role for me in getting my ITIL v3.
